💦💧Benefits of drinking water and staying hydrated 💧💦

Some may wonder why we put so much emphasis on drinking water while following The 1:1 Diet Plan.
There are several reasons.

Obviously, water is essential for hydration and for many of the processes that keep our metabolism ticking over. Its importance is reflected in the fact that our bodies are composed of 50-60% water.
Beyond these basics, there are several reasons why we should drink more water whilst on Plan.

Firstly, much of our water intake comes from food, so when we switcharoo on to The 1:1 Diet, most of that water from food is no longer coming in!
Also, with rapid fat loss, an accelerated release of toxins from fat stores occurs and the liver and the kidneys have to step up their game to eliminate these safely from the body. Better hydration ensures that this process doesn’t get held up!

This is why we recommend drinking at least 2.25 litres (four pints) of water per day, helping to maintain blood volume and to prevent dehydration.

Here are some tips to help ensure you take enough water on board:
💧Wake up first thing in the morning and drink a glass or two of water – most people are least hydrated in the morning!
💧Carry a water bottle around with you all day! Don’t leave your house without it and simply refill every time it’s empty
💧Drink 500mL (1/2 litre) of water 30 minutes before meals – specific scientific studies have shown that this supports weight loss
💧Drink water when you think you’re hungry. If you feel a hunger pang between meals, pour yourself a tall glass of fresh drinking water first to see if you’re dehydrated. Sometimes people think they’re hungry when really, they’re just thirsty
💧Drinking water before a snack or with one will help you feel full faster, helping keep calorie intake in check

Taking Your Body Measurements ⚖️

This is a great option for tracking progress because it doesn't require any fancy equipment and anyone can do it. Taking your measurements at certain areas can give you an idea of where you're losing fat, which is important since we all lose fat in different areas and in a different order.

Taking your measurements can help reassure you that things are happening—even if you're not losing fat exactly where you want just yet.

Start by wearing tight-fitting clothing (or no clothing) and make a note of what you're wearing so you know to wear the same clothes the next time you measure.

Here's how to do it:

* Bust: Measure around the chest right at the ni**le line, but don't pull the tape too tight.
* Chest: Measure just under your bust.
* Waist: Measure a half-inch above your belly button or at the smallest part of your waist.
* Hips: Place the tape measure around the biggest part of your hips.
* Thighs: Measure around the biggest part of each thigh.
* Calves: Measure around the largest part of each calf.
* Upper arm: Measure around the largest part of each arm above the elbow.
* Forearm: Measure around the largest part of the arm below the elbow.

✏️You can jot all these measurements in your 1:1 Diet Weigh In card.

Gauge Your Progres by How Your Clothes Fit

It may seem obvious, but don't overlook one of the simplest ways to track progress—how your clothes fit.

You may want to take a picture of yourself wearing a bathing suit and keep it in your weight loss journal. Each month, take a new picture and you'll be surprised at how many changes you notice in a picture as opposed to just seeing yourself in the mirror.

You can also use your clothes to keep track of your progress.

Choose one pair of trousers that are a little tight and try them on every four weeks to see how they fit.

Make a note of where they feel loose, where they feel tight, and how you feel wearing them.

Remember you can always give your consultant a call or text if you need some guidance 🖤

✨’Welcome’ or ‘Welcome Back Again’✨

Well done to you all for deciding that the food party has finally ended and now is the time to clean up the diet, by treating yourself to a nutritionally complete plan, that involves no junk or alcohol.

Remember just how good you feel after only 3-4 days back on plan?

If you’re struggling to get back in the zone, please remember that after just a few days of being 100% on plan, this is all it takes to get you knuckled down again.

Keep trying, keep learning from previous mistakes and triggers, and then one day something just clicks and you say, “Enough, no more, I’m going to make this happen.”

And it’s down to you to make this happen, as no one can do this for you. So get out of your own way, as you can do this...

- Despite your family driving you crazy
- Despite falling out with a sibling
- Despite work being stressful
- Despite an unkind word from a colleague
- Despite you feeling unwell
- Despite a loved ones illness
- Despite how a friend let you down
- Despite an upcoming social event or weekend away
- Despite who your consultant is
- Despite trying and failing previously

You CAN do this...

It’s up to you to keep going, keep fighting, and keep prioritising that goal. No more “it’s because of THEM not ME.

No more caving under peer pressure. No more not wanting to appear rude. No more excuses. Take responsibility. You are entirely up to you.

Life throws us curve balls ALL the time. It’s how we learn to react to them that matters. We can’t control life but we all know that eating our way through these situations with junk or drowning our sorrows ultimately just makes us feel worse.

The 1:1 Diet helps put you back in control of food by balancing your blood sugars, and when you are in control of at least one thing, this enables us to handle these other life situations better.

Our door is always open so welcome back weight loss warriors.

Lets do this...today, tomorrow...but either way remember you CAN do this. Your health is too important not too prioritise this.
Have a beautiful blessed Wednesday x

⭐ Monday Morning Mindset ⭐

There are days and weeks when our journey forward can seem pointless, endless and you feel like you are not getting anywhere.

But no matter how long the road appears or what obstacles seem to be in front of you, it's important to just keep putting one foot in front of the other, small movement is better than none, and before you realise, you will have travelled a much greater distance than you thought possible.

So keep moving forward, you, your goals and your dreams are worth it!

Keep thinking about all those social events planned for the summer!☀️🥻👗👠🍹🥂🍴

📝The Importance of a Daily Routine on The 1:1 Diet Weight Loss Journey📝

Here are some tips to keep a daily routine:

💤Bedtime Habits:

Go to bed and wake up each day around the same time. This is the first step to start a routine. By going to bed at the same time, you program your body to get into a ritual of sleeping a set number of hours.
Determine what it is you want to accomplish or feel throughout the day.

🍋Eating Habits:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Holistic health coach Tracey Lemle says an eating routine shouldn’t be strict or like you’re being forced to do something. “Our bodies respond really well to repetition even when it comes to eating. It’s like muscle memory but for our stomachs,” she says. Once you wake up, drink a pint of water or a mug of warm water with your favourite water flavouring and try to incorporate protein into your breakfast. Protein helps us feel satisfied throughout the day.

👟Exercise Habits:

Make it your goal to move in some way every day. Physical activity can reduce the risk of chronic disease, improve balance and coordination, aid weight loss, and improve sleep habits and self-esteem.
If you can do a gentle exercise for just 20 minutes a day, three days a week for six weeks, you will notice an increase in energy.
Design a program that works best for you.

🖤Conclusion

Take time for yourself and keep a routine in your sleep, eating, and exercise. These are three crucial rules for living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Plan your products for the day and what time you are going to have them. The 1:1 Diet products are designed to keep you full for 4 hours, and with your water, tea, coffee and water flavourings in-between~ you should be pleasantly full at all times. Fill out a daily ‘Diet Planner’ and stick it on your fridge with your ‘inspirational photo’ to keep you on track.

✨Step 1: People! You get to choose your personal diet Consultant, someone who will work out your Plan for you, get you set up with your products and provide 1:1 support as your very own cheerer-onner.

✨Step 2: Plan! On The 1:1 Diet you'll have plenty of nutritionally balanced, super tasty meal replacements to choose from – shakes, soups, meals, bars and smoothies. Most people start with all or nearly all meal replacements – it makes life a lot easier because you don’t have to go food shopping, face temptation OR count calories. Then gradually, some of the replacement meals are swapped for good, healthy food, so you can get back to eating everyday food and keep the weight off. If you start with Total Diet Replacement, your entire diet will be three or four diet products a day, plus water and black tea or coffee. If you prefer, you can have a combination of meal replacement and everyday food, you'll have three diet products a day, plus your own healthy, calorie-controlled dinner. With a personal, flexible, stepped approach to your diet, and dedicated one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant, you’ll change the way you think about food and eating – for good. And if life gets in the way (as it has a habit of doing) and you feel the pounds creeping back on, you’ll know exactly what to do and who to call. So it’s easier to hang on to that happier, healthier you.

✨Step 3: Products! Want diet food that you’ll actually enjoy? This is the one! We have shakes, bars, soups, porridge, bites, pasta/ noodle/ rice meals, smoothies and much more. There are delicious flavours and a variety of choice to ensure that you enjoy your food and don’t get bored! The 1:1 Diet product range has been researched and tested by nutritional experts to provide all the vitamins and minerals your body needs for a balanced diet and manageable weight loss. They’re not just effective - they’re delicious too.
