Summer is upon us, forward thinking to how we look after people in the heat. Few things we do to help;
Keep blinds or curtains closed.
Keep windows and doors closed on the sunny side of the house.
Top up those water bottles.
Reduce the layers of clothes.
Offer cold and fresh food during the lunch calls.

We currently have our fingers and toes crossed that the blood test trials are a success, a massive step in the right direction towards caring for those with dementia!

​Thousands of people in the UK are to take part in countrywide trials to identify accurate and quick blood tests that can diagnose dementia, led by research teams at UCL and Dementias Platform UK, based at the University of Oxford.
