There was a time in my life when I was constantly in fight-or-flight.
Juggling everything.
Sleeping badly.
Pushing through.
Even running, something which I’ve done for years and really love felt hard - like I couldn’t properly breathe.
It wasn’t that I needed more intensity.
I needed steadiness.
Yoga helped me reconnect.
Strength training and Pilates rebuilt my confidence.
Sleep and rhythm brought my nervous system back down.
That’s why I talk about consistency.
That’s why I say calm before strength.
Because when life destabilises you, your body follows.
And the way back isn’t punishment.
It’s intelligent strength and steady rhythm.
