To help us get the right care for you as quickly as possible - We have gone live with our new online AccurX total triage.

All medical and administration requests to be submitted via our website or the NHS app. It is a very simple form to fill out so please do give it a go if you need to contact us.

Please remember one form per problem, so we can prioritise and allocate the right solution for you.

If you do not have access to the internet or find it difficult to use a computer or smartphone, you can still call and speak to a receptionist who will assist you with the form.

Under Jess’s Rule, GP teams are encouraged to critically re-evaluate a diagnosis if a patient presents 3 times with the same or escalating symptoms or concerns.

Implementing Jess’s Rule will support GP teams to manage patients with unclear symptoms, helping to improve quality of care and potentially saving lives by avoiding missed or delayed diagnosis of more serious conditions such as cancer or sepsis.

Under Jess’s Rule, listening carefully to a patient’s symptoms and concerns remain crucial, recognising they are an expert in their own body.

Flu can be serious, especially for those at higher risk.

Flu vaccines don’t stop everyone from catching flu, but they do reduce the risk of becoming seriously unwell, needing hospital care or developing complications – especially for older adults and those with health conditions.

If you’re eligible and haven’t had yours yet, it’s not too late!

At Mocketts Wood Surgery we have vaccines in stock for those that are eligible- just ask

The NI childhood immunisation schedule is changing giving even better protection with the introduction of the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

From January 2026, eligible children will be offered a combined vaccine for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV) - as part of the routine infant vaccination schedule.

As with other childhood immunisations, parents will be contacted by their GP surgery to arrange an appointment if their child is eligible. If you are unsure if your child is up to date with vaccinations the easiest way to check is to look at your child’s red book or speak to your health visitor or GP.
