What is the Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
The PPG is a volunteer group made up of patients and carers who work alongside GP practice staff to help improve services, share feedback, and support the local community. Its goal is to ensure that patients remain at the heart of care.

Thatcham Medical Practice PPG has operated for a number of years.

PPG Objectives:
Improve patient care and relations
Act as a good communication tool and raise awareness
Suggest change and address issues
Act as a lobby group to Clinical Commissioning Group
Promote good practice and healthcare

We recently experienced a high volume of calls concerning the reported meningitis outbreak in Kent. In response, we acted quickly to share important information via email.

Unfortunately, due to a technical error, this message was sent more broadly than intended and may have reached individuals for whom it was not relevant. We sincerely apologise for any concern or distress this may have caused. Please be assured that this was not our intention.
