What We’ve Done…
Increased the number of same-day urgent face-to-face appointments by 25%🩺
Added extra appointments on our busiest days📅
Made a wider range of clinicians available through Anima👩⚕️👨⚕️
Promoted Pharmacy First and other local services when appropriate💊
Improved access for our red patients, who have more complex or urgent needs🔴
Reduced incoming phone calls by 40% compared to 2024, as more patients now use Anima to get through more easily☎️⬇️
Increased signposting to Pharmacy First, Minor Injury Units and dental services, helping us keep more GP appointments available for those who need them most🏥

Improving Appointment Availability
We are always working on ways to improve our appointment availability by looking at the data. The most recent data was collected from 1st July-September 30th 2025.
We thought is was very interesting so we wanted to share this with our patients by displaying it in the waiting room. We will analyse this to improve our services over the winter months.
