Residents at Buckingham Lodge Care Home are no strangers to Baking as part of their Activities but decided to channel themselves into a little bit of healthy competitiveness with a challenge over Orange & Lemon cakes 🍋🍊🍋
Calling themselves Angels vs Demons and teamed with visiting Watton and District Rotary Club they were very excited to accept the challenge but this time with Shortbread. 🥣

Rotarians Paul Weatherill & Michael Haythorpe were quickly roped in to became part of the Devils
whilst Inner Circle members Stella Leonard and Carole Haythorpe became part of the Angels. 😇😈

“I have been part of Ladies Circle & Inner Wheel for over 30 years”, said Stella “but this has been a real fun afternoon” whilst Michael stated that he “did not know what to expect not being a cook, but had really enjoyed the experience" 😊

Homes Manager Bethany Dawson sampled the final product with the Devils being “overjoyed” to win, motivating them for the next challenge 🏆
