Residents recently began a new art project, starting by looking through books for inspiration. 🎨

Some chose landscapes, flowers, and plants, while others were drawn to more abstract ideas. It was a fun and creative session, full of imagination and individuality.

We’ll be continuing the project over the next few weeks, giving residents time to develop their pieces until they’re truly happy with the results.

This weekend our armchair travels took us to Germany 🇩🇪

Residents enjoyed sharing memories of their holidays while learning more about German culture and the many German words we use in English today — from angst to muesli. On the weekend, we hosted another prize bingo event here at Ford Place, bringing together residents, staff, and families for a wonderfully sociable occasion.

The dining room was full of anticipation and laughter as everyone joined in, and we were delighted to hold our pamper raffle draw, congratulations to all of our winners.

Thank you to everyone who came along and took part, and a special thank you to our chef Gill for preparing some delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy.
