New Year
As we welcome a new year, We'd like to take a moment to reflect on the year gone by before embracing the opportunities ahead.

2025 has been a year of growth and dedication. We’ve seen an increase in demand for appointments, and our team has worked tirelessly to meet that need. Over the past year, we’ve cared for more than 74,500 patients in person and handled over 15,000 telephone consultations—a testament to the commitment and resilience of our staff and the trust of our community.

We’ve introduced evening group consultations to help patients learn more about cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and menopause, and we’re excited to extend these sessions in the new year.

As a teaching practice, we’ve supported the training of Doctors who have gone on to qualify as GPs, welcomed medical students starting their training, and provided learning opportunities for pharmacists and physician assistants. A huge thank you to our patients who have supported these colleagues in their learning.

Our charity work has raised over £1,100, supporting causes such as Children in Need, Thetford Shines Brighter, and initiatives that directly benefit our patients.

Our team continues to grow and develop: Tiffany qualified as a Nursing Associate, and Sophie as a Pharmacy Technician—huge congratulations to them both!

We’re also proud that our Research Team has been named one of only 14 Primary Care Commercial Research Delivery Centres in the UK. This achievement opens exciting opportunities to improve patient care in the future.

A huge thank you to our whole team who come to work every day to put others first—it’s not just a job, it’s a vocation. We are here to help, but we ask that you always take a moment to consider: could you get advice from a pharmacist first, or use the symptom checker on your NHS app to see who is best suited to help you?

We don’t make New Year’s resolutions (who keeps them?)—instead, we take the positives from this year and aim to have even more next year.

Happy New Year from all at Grove!
