This meme made me think.
I mean, REALLY think.

Some of my wounds occurred in childhood, and while they may not have been intentionally inflicted, they are wounds, and not my fault.

A lot of the wounds that have occurred in adulthood, I have to take some responsibility for - for example, a relationship in which I was treated extremely badly - no, not my fault - but I stayed, way way too long. Therefore, I allowed it to continue. I am complicit in my wounding.

Regardless, I am responsible for my own healing. No-one can do it for me. I have learned that ignoring wounds does not make them go away. They just fester.

So, here's to doing the shadow work. Here's to healing; to tending our own wounds, and working out how to heal them. It's an on-going process.

And here's to those who love us, regardless of our broken bits ❤

Hi 👋
It’s been a while! It’s taken me a long time to adjust to the new normal following the shift that the last pandaemic has created and I’ve had to alter my work accordingly - but here Breathing Space is, in all her glory - transforming and rising to create and hold space for you to heal and replenish.
I have a few spaces in which I can offer Reiki, Aromatouch aromatherapy massage and Indian Head massage as always, but I am now able to offer a range of meditation, mindfulness and spiritual guidance, to individuals or small groups, depending on what is needed.
I have yet to update my website with the new services but please feel free to take a look at it anyway, message or call if you would like a chat about any of the services I provide.
