🚑 Our volunteers don’t just support events to keep you safe while you’re having a great day.

They’re also out on your local streets, in shops, and even running marathons — all to raise vital funds that enable our charity to deliver lifesaving care in your community. 💚

Your donation really does make a difference:

👉 75p could buy a sling to support and ease pain from a limb injury
👉 95p could buy enough plasters for our Community First Aiders to treat 10 casualties
👉 £9 could buy a Tourni-Key to stop life-threatening bleeding at a local event
👉 £68 could buy defibrillator pads to help shock a casualty’s heart back into a rhythm compatible with life

We’re at Asda Monks Cross today until 1600 as part of Visit York Residents’ Festival 2026, engaging with residents from right across York.

Our York Vale volunteers are:
🟢 Fundraising to support our lifesaving work
🟢 Delivering hands-on CPR demonstrations
🟢 Talking to the community about the lifesaving and life-changing skills we teach
🟢 Sharing opportunities for young people across York to get involved through Badgers & Cadets

💚 Day 1 complete at Asda Monks Cross! 💚

Our York Vale volunteers have had a brilliant first day of our 2-day community engagement event at Asda Monks Cross 🙌

From chatting to shoppers to demonstrating lifesaving CPR, the team have been out in force helping people feel more confident to act in an emergency 💪🫀

🌟 A busy few days for our York Vale Network volunteers! 🌟

We’re delighted to be continuing our fundraising partnership with The Milner York.
This morning, our volunteers attended the Milner’s Breakfast Networking event alongside other local professionals, with proceeds raised in support of St John Ambulance 💛
