We took a walk down memory lane at our Monday Rewind and Reminisc club. We enjoyed looking through old photos of Thirsk.Tales were shared of the Finkle Street floods and cherished memories of shops like Maynards and Reedmans bakery.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our coffee morning! It was wonderful to welcome relatives and friends into our home for a relaxed morning filled with warm conversation and great company.

A special shout out to Debs for her delicious homemade cakes- they were a real treat and went down a storm with everyone!

We will be holding our coffee mornings every third Friday of the month- join us on the 15th August for a special VJ Day themed coffee morning.

A big thank you to Thirsk School and Sixth Form College- 'Be More Thirsk'

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the students and staff from Thirsk School and Sixth Form for visiting our residents yesterday. It was a truly special afternoon filled with laughter, shared stories and wonderful company.

From flipping through photo albums and reminiscing about the past to enjoying quizzes and great conversations - everyone had a fantastic time getting to know each other. It was a joy to see the connections forming across generations.

Thank you for bringing such warmth, curiosity and kindness into our home.
