Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kelly Chemist has no wi-fi. This means we cannot dispense electronic prescriptions that have been sent to us yesterday or today. We are working as hard as possible to get this fixed. The doctor surgeries are aware of the situation and have been printing paper prescriptions upon request, which we are able to dispense. This will ensure patients get any urgent medication. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes and will update everyone as soon as this problem is fixed.

Sunday 10:00-12:00

We are doing some flu clinics and appointments are filling up fast. However, we currently have some spaces left on our following clinics. These are running between:
Tuesday 10th October 9am-1pm
Tuesday 17th October 9am-1pm
Tuesday 24th October 9am-1pm
If these times don’t suit you, please feel free to call us and we will arrange to fit you in another day 🙂
We are offering both NHS free flu jabs for eligible patients and private flu jabs (£15).

Meet our smoking advisor and dedicated member of the Kelly’s team, Ranna.
She is here everyday from 7:30-6:00 and is available over the phone or face to face in the pharmacy. She is available for any questions on stop smoking and runs our campaign to help the community quit smoking.
Ranna is fully trained and can devise a plan that is fit for any individual wanting to quit. Smokers are 3 times as likely to quit smoking when they see a smoking advisor because they are fully supported along their journey. Contact us or message us with any questions.

Meet our pharmacist, Matthew.
He has been the pharmacist at Kelly chemist for over a year now and you might have already met him.
For those of you that haven’t, he graduated at Sunderland University in 2018 and has worked in a variety of high volume community pharmacies around the north east. Throughout his career he has been in high management roles and has also worked as a GP pharmacist.
Due to his experience, he is very knowledgable and happy to help with any queries you may have about your medication or any health conditions. You can call our pharmacy for a telephone consultation or call in to the pharmacy for a face to face consultation.
