Huge shout-out to our regular patient Richard for winning the Cook & Harris Trophy at Kendleshire Golf Club, the club championship for handicaps of 12 and under.

Richard works hard both on and off the course, coming in for regular physio sessions to keep his upper back mobile and his swing strong. We’re proud to support him on his journey – and it clearly paid off with this amazing win!

One of our runners came to us with a persistent thigh injury that just wouldn’t shift. Alongside treatment, we encouraged them to add yoga into their routine to support mobility, balance, and recovery.

👟 Your shoes matter more than you think.

Whether you’re out for a walk, hitting the trails, or training for a big event, the right footwear can make all the difference. Poorly fitted or worn out shoes can lead to blisters, bunions, ankle instability, shin splints, knee pain and even back issues over time.

Trail running and long distance walking put extra stress on your feet and joints. Supportive shoes that match your foot type and activity level help protect you from injury and keep you moving comfortably for longer.

This patient had been struggling with foot and ankle issues caused by a bunion for quite some time. The pain was limiting their movement and affecting daily life and limiting their hiking - something they loved to do.

Ganghofer Trail Leutasch • 2 August 2025

21.5k of pure off road challenge through the Tyrolean Alps, starting at 3,600 ft elevation and climbing over 1,000 more. 🌧️

The skies poured. The trails disappeared. The air thinned. But kept pushing.

Despite the rain, mud, and lung crushing altitude, he crossed the finish line in 2:19 and placed 17th overall on one of the most brutal courses around.

“I was struggling to breathe…” he said. But he didn’t stop. He just ran harder.
