🌈 WELLBEING WEDNESDAY - we’d love your input! 🌈

For over two years now, we’ve been sharing weekly posts about mindset, wellbeing, and practical tools to help you feel calmer, stronger and more in control of life’s ups and downs.

But this week, we’d love to turn things around and hear from you!

👉 What kind of topics would be most helpful for you?
👉 Are there challenges or themes you’d like us to explore?
👉 Do you prefer short tips, stories, videos, or something else?

🌿 Our aim with Wellbeing Wednesday is to make these posts as useful and relevant as possible for our local community — so that when you need mental health support, insight, or a mindset boost, you know exactly where to turn.

💬 We'd be so grateful if you could pop a quick comment below… (e.g. ‘STRESS’, ‘ANXIETY’, ‘SLEEP’, ‘EXERCISE’, ‘MENOPAUSE’, ‘LONELINESS’ etc.) Or, message us directly with your thoughts.

🙏 Your feedback helps shape what comes next, so thank you for being part of this journey.

👎🏼Pain in your Achilles at the back of your ankle, especially first thing in the morning or after periods of rest?

It could be Achilles tendinopathy - a common overuse injury that causes pain, stiffness and sometimes swelling in the Achilles tendon.

Here’s how physiotherapy/injury therapy can help 👍🏼.
🦵🏼Identify the underlying cause - tendon overload, weakness, injury.
📉 Reduce pain - hands on treatment, massage, taping, acupuncture, dry needling all help to calm things down. We also have the option of using shockwave treatment.
🏋🏻‍♀️ Load the tendon and strengthen key muscles - more support = less strain.
🧘 Improve flexibility - tight surrounding musculature? We help to release and restore mobility.
🏃🏾‍♂️ Get you back to activity safely - gradual return to activity means you go back stronger and reduces the likelihood of recurrence/re-injury.
🎯 Treatment is tailored to you and your needs and we are here to help every step of the way.

🌈 WELLBEING WEDNESDAY 🌈

🎃 WHAT FEARS ARE HOLDING YOU BACK?

As Halloween approaches, I love seeing how people decorate their houses in preparation for the annual trick-or-treat sweet frenzy. We’re surrounded by playful scares in shops and on TV - ghosts, spiders and all things that go bump in the night. But the real fears - the ones that quietly shape our choices, often go unseen.

👻 Fear of failure

👻 Fear of rejection.

👻 Fear of not being “good enough.”

👻 Fear of change.

These fears don’t jump out from behind a door, but they can still haunt us - keeping us stuck in familiar patterns and holding us back from opportunities that could bring joy, growth, or fulfilment.

🤔 Consider this…

Often, fear isn’t a sign that you shouldn’t do something - it’s a sign that something matters to you.

So, next time you feel fear creeping in, try this:

✨ 1. NAME it. Write down what you’re afraid of and be specific. (E.g. “I’m afraid I’ll fail” becomes “I’m afraid others will judge me if I fail.”)

✨ 2. QUESTION it. Ask yourself: "Is this fear protecting me, or limiting me?"

✨ 3. SHRINK it. Visualise the fear as a cartoon villain, or a character you can observe - not something that controls you.

✨ 4. Take ONE SMALL STEP anyway. Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s moving forward WITH it.

Fear loses its power when we face it head on. So this Halloween, instead of shying away from what scares you, take a moment to face it, and remind yourself that you’re stronger than you think. 💪

👉 If you’re ready to release old fears and would like some support, why not CALL 01454 838366 and book in a FREE enquiry call with our mindset coach and hypnotherapist, Penny, to understand more about how she can help you. 😊

👎🏼Pain below your kneecap during or after activity, and especially going down stairs or down hill?

It could be Patella tendinopathy - an overuse injury that causes pain during and after activity that gradually worsens.

🌈 WELLBEING WEDNESDAY 🌈

💧 HOW'S YOUR WELL-BEING RESERVOIR LOOKING TODAY? 💧

Imagine your well-being as a reservoir. Every challenge you face - work overload, conflict, money worries, health issues, or even just daily stress - acts like a drain, letting water out. On the other hand, things like exercise, connecting with loved ones, laughter, recognition, and learning something new act as inflows, replenishing your reservoir.

When your reservoir is full, you’re more resilient: small setbacks don’t throw you off course and you feel better able to handle life’s pressures. But if the outflows consistently exceed the inflows, then your reservoir starts to run dry. That’s when stress can build, emotions become harder to manage and burnout threatens.

✨ SO, HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR WELL-BEING RESERVOIR HEALTHY?

👉 Reduce drains: Notice what’s pulling energy away and address what you can.

👉 Strengthen your dam: Build resilience with tools like mindfulness, helpful coping strategies, or reframing unhelpful thoughts.

👉 Boost inflows: Prioritise things that top you up, e.g. time with loved ones, rest, hobbies, movement, or simply moments of joy.

👉 Check your reservoir balance: Ask yourself regularly, “Am I giving out more than I’m putting back in?”, "What changes can I make to address an imbalance?"

😊 The good news? You don’t have to manage your reservoir alone. Through hypnotherapy and mindset coaching, I help clients identify their drains, strengthen their resilience, and create sustainable inflows, so they can thrive, not just survive.

💬 If you’d like support in topping up your reservoir and protecting it for the long term, send me (Penny) a message today, or call our wonderful reception team on, 01454 838366 and book in a FREE enquiry call with me to understand more about how I can help you. Your future self will thank you!
