Let’s talk about something most of us are terrible at…

Being kind to ourselves.

We’ll support friends.
Encourage colleagues.
Tell strangers they look lovely.

But when it comes to ourselves?

“Oh I look tired.”
“I should have done better.”
“I’m useless.”

Honestly… if we spoke to our friends the way we speak to ourselves we probably wouldn’t have many friends left 😆

So this week’s challenge is simple.

✨ Compliment yourself once a day.

It doesn’t need to be big or dramatic.

Just something honest like:

💬 “I handled that well.”
💬 “I showed up today even though I was tired.”
💬 “I’m proud of myself for trying.”
💬 “My skin actually looks quite good today.”

Positive self-talk is proven to:

✔ improve confidence
✔ strengthen resilience
✔ reduce negative thinking
✔ improve self-worth

And the more you practise it… the more natural it becomes.

🚺 Let’s talk about something that still surprises so many women…

Every week I meet women who are fighting to access HRT or who have been told their symptoms are “just part of getting older”.

And yet one of the most common menopause symptoms is rarely talked about…

🚽 Bladder changes

Many women notice:

• Urgency
• Needing the toilet more often
• Leaks when coughing or exercising

This often starts during perimenopause, sometimes years before periods actually stop.
