I couldn’t get through life and work without a To-Do list! And I also have an ongoing Could-Do list.

Not essential, not timebound, but inspiration, wellbeing and heart led.

Yesterday I did one of the things on that list. A night away on my own.

The perfect airbnb for it, peaceful, countryside, fresh air.

I did some journaling, pre-full moon meditating, pottering, a glass of wine and simply switching off. Filling up my enjoyment cup.

I spent a long time creating a balanced life that meets my personal needs. It changed after having Rosie, as it does for most parents. I’m creating a new version of balance now.

Enjoy the weekend. Monday’s Aquarius full moon has the power to be life changing and hugely transformative 🙌🌕🩷

My current read. It’s fabulous! ❤️

I’ve worked with many women 121 now. The mistrust in our bodies that we’ve grown up with for years is sad and untrue.

My experience is that our intuition, felt senses and bodily responses, ability to ‘read a room’, pick up vibes and sense mistruths and misinformation is our super power.

“For generations we have been screaming,
Screaming to be heard.
For generations we have been told we were hysterical,
Eventually we fell silent.
But our bodies have kept on screaming.”

My work with clients through reiki and coaching is about undoing the survival mechanisms that keep us stuck and creating more resourceful ways to thrive 🤩

One of the ways I see clients being stuck is with ongoing body tension, tightness, stiffness and physical pain that was created out of ‘bracing’ themselves to protect from the outer world.

We don’t realise the pain we’re carrying is often a protection mechanism, but we can unlearn it and release it physically, mentally and emotionally.

💫The journey of inner work and freedom to be you…

I used to help people because it was a nervous system and pattern response, it was the way I thought I would be accepted, loved and feel safe.

Then, though I saw that pattern, I used to help people because even though I didn’t feel supported myself I could play the martyr at times to tell the story of how I was there for others but no one was there for me. Keeping the same victim / ego story going.

Then I used to help people, even though it didn’t feel aligned and I felt resentful, because I thought it was the only thing I was good at. The only thing people wanted.

More patterns and inner stories uncovered.

💖 Now I help people in a way that feels clear and balanced. I share my unique gifts, skills and wisdom with others to help them do the same. I’m in a role of service not servitude. Magic not martyrdom. I’m supportive and supported.

And I’m sure there will be more to learn on this journey, but for now I am embracing the growth and clarity on who I am and what I am not.

The last few coaching sessions of 2023 have all been about getting into alignment with the ‘right’ actions.

Sometimes the right actions are to take a leap and do something new, and sometimes they are to trust and surrender to timing, once the creative part of the process is done.

🌟 What does alignment feel like? Feeling satisfied, inspired, naturally energised and enjoying what you’re doing are indicators of being on your most aligned path.

💖 We don’t have to rush to finish the year on a high, like social media might want us to think. We can choose to work with gratitude as the year closes and spend time reflecting, appreciating and being present before we ease into the new year.
