Each experience is unique and can bring daily challenges, such as:
Navigating public spaces
Reading important documents or signs
Using technology or public transport
Feeling isolated due to communication barriers
πͺ How They Overcome:
Despite the challenges, many deafblind people use tools and strategies like:
β
Guide communicators
β
Assistive tech (e.g. braille displays, hearing aids, speech-to-text)
β
Tactile signing or hands-on communication
β
Mobility aids and support animals
