Friendly Independent Optician and Hearing Care Centre

Hanks and Peck Optician and Hearing Care Centre opened in January 2017 and are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and friendly health care service in the Tendring Peninsula. We keep up-to-date with the latest in lens and audiological technology to provide our patients with the best possible vision and hearing care. We have a lovely team of staff with many years of optical experience and encourage our staff to take their optical education further with accredited courses at City and Islington College, City University and Cardiff University.

We accept both NHS and private patients, and are happy to see contact lens patients and children of all ages. We are currently in the process of qualifying for further enhanced services to ease the burden on our local hospitals and provide a convenient enhanced service for our patients closer to home.
