Confirmation has been given by the Government that the Queen’s funeral will be a national Bank Holiday.

Out of respect for our late Queen, Nene Valley Surgery will be closed on Monday 19th September and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September at 8am.

If you need emergency medical care during this time, please call 111 or visit the Corby Walk in Centre or A&E if the condition is life threatening.

‼️Surgery and dispensary closures this week‼️

Unfortunately due to staff illness, the dispensary will be closing at 12 noon today.

If you have medication to pick up today, please ensure you do so before 12pm.

ALSO:

The surgery will be closed from 1pm tomorrow (Wednesday) for routine staff training. If you have urgent medical issues after this time, please call 111 or visit Corby Urgent Care Centre.

To all our patients:

We are experiencing staff absences at short notice due to COVID-19. This makes it impossible to provide a normal level of service for you, including longer call waiting times for your prescription requests and fewer appointments

We will always prioritise the most unwell patients. If you have a minor illness, please consider accessing help in other ways including through your local pharmacy.

Had a fall without injury and need help getting up?

The Intermediate Care Team (ICT) are running a trial service for the next 2 weeks to support people who have had a fall without injuring themselves but need help to get up off the floor.

Call Single Point of Access (SPOA) on 0300 777 0002, option 2 and then option 1 to get through to the 2hour response team.

They will ask questions to establish how the person came to be on the floor and if appropriate send a team to assess the situation and help them up.
