Please welcome the new chartered physiotherapist: Jamie Holden BSc HCPC MCSP. Graduating in 2020, Jamie’s main background is in the MSK and Sports Injury sector, with experience in treating acute and chronic pain conditions and working in the elite sports environment with Leyton Orient FC, Millwall FC and (currently) West Ham United. He also has experience working in the medical environment, completing rotations in Critical Care, ICU, Surgery and MSK.

If your suffering from chronic/ long term pain in joints such as the shoulder, knee, hip, heel or elbow. A steroid could be the big step or solution to recovery.
Used to diagnose and alleviate joint pain, in some studies in the shoulder ultrasound can be a more effective of way of diagnosis than a MRI. Benefits of the steroid injection can offer reduced inflammation in joints, reduce pain and decrease or reduce osteoarthritis pain, among many other issues.
