Today at Thurlaston Meadows we have had a beautiful church service come to visit us. Then after lunch we enjoyed a game or two of bingo. With prizes being given for the winners.

Hello. We have had a busy day today with the morning activity being the retro game of beetle drive🪲🎲. After lunch we then popped into the garden and topped up the bird feeders along the terrace.🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛
Once inside, we had a quiz ⁉️💯with the addition of a round of dingbats

This morning we did some arts and crafts, we used some leaves that we found in the garden to create butterflies, we also did some September art work.

This afternoon we had 4 games of bingo and all prizes were won by people with the initial J, Josephine, Janet and Jesse winning 3times ( he donated 2 of his prizes to Beryl F and Viv )

We have finished the day with a walk in the garden dodging the rain showers.

Hello to everyone. So after a beautiful sunny morning ☀️we had a lovely chat and the residents helped suggest what we should do in our garden club 🌱🌼🪴that we are looking forward to start in September. After lunch we worked on some window decoration. 🙌Ready for a display for residents art and craft work at the end of September

This morning we had some lovely chats and then some word games.

This afternoon we had Ewan playing piano, residents enjoyed the variety of old and new music 🎵

This morning we had a lovely reminiscing session, residents enjoyed talking about some of their favourite childhood memories, “mums egg and chips on a Friday” we talked about how things have changed, how they used to walk to school on their own from the ages of 6, how they used to leave the babies in the pram outside the shops while they did the shopping.

This afternoon it was eyes down for bingo, our winners are…. John, Jenny, Kath, Mickey, Ann W and Jane 🏆
