With regret staff illness closed our books to new clients in June and we are still not back to full staff levels so looks like they will remain closed for many more months, not weeks.

And finally we have our absolutely talented Leanne who as been working from our Wick premises for over 5 yrs now doing the most amazing Permanent make up and Fine line Tattoo's. But is now able to offer Tattoo removal too.

Summer is on its way (I think!) so for all those Damaged or Mis-shaped Toenails, we have just the answer.

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!!

My trainee is no longer a trainee. She is a fully qualified + insured Foot Health Practitioner.

Woop! Woop! Well done Isla, you have worked so hard over this last year.

But she's up for more - to become a Podiatrist! Isla has just been accepted onto the 4 yr distant taught Honours Degree course so she can work with us while studying. Best of both worlds for all of us.

Super proud of my new colleague, who will initially take over the Basic Nail Cutting Service in Thurso and Wick, before working completely independently 4 days a week.
And that means more appts for you folks (But STILL UNABLE to take New Clients ) and I don't have to work 6 days anymore. So we are all happy happy!!

Yeah!!!!! Well done again Isla.

Now the Good News!!!

I have a new team member!

An absolutely lovely local Thurso lass (Isla Bain) has taken up the challenge to become a Podiatrist. Yes - BSc(hons) degree level distant taught. This 2 staged approach is brand new for 2021 and I am so very excited to be in a position to sponsor and support someone through this process which could take 5/6yrs.

It also means she will be working as our Thurso Receptionist during the evening while completing her stage 1 training. So I have some help!!! Yeah!!!

So watch out - we will be looking for willing volunteers for Isla to learn her craft on.

Here's hoping this is only the start of the good news!
