URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL PATIENTS AT ST MARYS, we are having national issues with our computer and system, no staff are currently able to log on to computers or phones .. we are so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. We are doing our best to get this sorted as soon as possible.

We understand there has been some confusion regarding this year’s Flu and COVID vaccination programme. We would like to reassure our patients that the surgery will be providing both Flu and COVID vaccinations from 1st October.

If you are eligible, you are welcome to book an appointment with us. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please don’t hesitate to contact the practice, and our team will be happy to advise you.

Invitations are being sent out this week.

We hope this helps to clear up any concerns and we look forward to supporting you with your vaccinations.

Winter Flu & COVID Vaccination Campaign 2025–2026

We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure our patients are vaccinated in a timely manner this winter.

Following NHS England guidance, we will begin vaccinating eligible patients from 1st October 2025.

Our clinics will be available to book by the end of August, and you will receive an invitation when it’s time to book your appointment.

Thank you for your patience and for helping us keep our community healthy this winter.

The nursing team had 31 pre booked appointments NOT attended during this week (4th-8th August), this is 5hours and 10minutes of nurse time wasted.
If you aren’t able to make or keep your booked appointment please call reception and let them know, so we can offer someone else that appointment.

Sadly, during June we had 12 GP appointments and 84 Nurses appointments not attended by Patients.

Dear Patients,

We regret to inform you that our surgery was broken into during the early hours of this morning. Despite this incident, we remain open today and are committed to continuing to care for you. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as our staff manage the challenges resulting from this situation.

Unfortunately, items were taken during the break-in, including prescription medications. This has particularly affected patients with surnames beginning with the letters M–Z. If you are waiting to collect a prescription and your surname falls within this range, our dispensary team may need to reissue your prescription and reorder the items.

We understand this is an inconvenience and sincerely apologise. Please be assured that our dispensary team is working extremely hard to resolve this backlog as quickly as possible.
