The Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse this evening is a chance to release old ties that need to be set free so that you can clear the energetic pathway for better things. It’s a beautiful time to think about anything that’s stuck in your life. I’m going to be stepping outside for some moon bathing this evening and am hoping for clear skies. Enjoy the energy of this special full moon!

My head is not being my best friend at the moment and self doubt is creeping back in so I created this crystal grid to keep me grounded and to connect me to the Earth when my head wants to take me off to places that I don’t want to go. Under the new moon on Saturday I will recommit to letting go of self doubt and inviting self belief to take its place. What will you recommit to under the New Moon? Please do tell me in the comments if you feel drawn to share. I would never want to present myself as a Reiki therapist who has all the answers and am happy to share my struggles too because we all struggle at times and it’s the tools that help me to get through them that make me a better therapist in my eyes.

It’s the Full Moon in Aquarius today and marks a really important time of planetary activity for me with the last Full Moon in Capricorn which is my Moon Sign, the Sun in Leo which is my Sun Sign and now the Full Moon in Aquarius which is my Rising Sign. Reading about this moon there seems to be a theme of allowing my true colours to shine and not dimming my light to fit in so I am taking this on board as we move into the next few months of the year.

This Full Moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon because sturgeon were most readily caught in certain parts of the world at this full moon. Also known as Flying Up Moon, Harvest Moon, Black Cherries Moon and Mountain Shadows Moon.

I had a beautiful morning of Reiki working there today and it was wonderful to be surrounded by crystal energy whilst I gave Reiki. Wishing you a joyful and abundant Lammas. I love August as it is my birth month, wedding anniversary and eldest daughter’s birthday month. I love full blown Summer with all of its abundant energy and it makes me feel glad to be alive on this beautiful planet.

I had the most profoundly moving experience last week when I joined with other beautiful souls to celebrate our light and freedom together and let go of anything that is making us feel like we cannot shine at Rebecca Campbell’s Unbound ceremony in Glastonbury.

It was moving and liberating and I can’t stop thinking about it and how wonderful it feels to know that there are a whole (peaceful!) army of us who are committed to shining our light and acting as beacons in a world which is sometimes dark and confusing especially at the moment.

I wanted to buy a copy of Light is the New Black but told myself to be sensible after our car bit the dust and we had to buy a new one so I’m trying to be good! I went over to the table of books and oracle cards though to peruse the options longingly and overheard somebody ask about some copies of Light is the New Black that were being sold at a reduced rate so I took this as a sign from the Universe and I am enjoying it so much. I’m loving the playlist that accompanies the book (wow! Angus Stone is so great) and it feels good to know that I am not alone on this path. Sometimes the spiritual path has felt lonely at times as I find that friendships don’t align any longer and like I have changed profoundly but there is sadness in realising that others are still in the same energy and it just doesn’t fit me any longer so the feeling of togetherness was important to me. It’s a Full Buck Moon tonight so make sure you get outside for a while to soak up some moonbeams. The Full Moon in Capricorn urges us to take steps, no matter how small, towards where we want to go in life and our purpose for being on this beautiful planet. Also known in some cultures as the Halfway Summer Moon, at this mid point in the year take a moment to think about the next six months and where you want to go.

Sending love and bright blessings on this special Summer Solstice day. I am thinking about the first six months of the year and celebrating what I have learnt about myself so far. It has been an important year for me not in terms of material things but a time to dig deep and get in touch with myself on a real soul level. Going forwards into the rest of the year I want to focus on letting go of old hurts so I can move forward free of lingering feelings of emotional pain that should stay in the past now where they belong. It’s hard to let go sometimes but those feelings don’t belong in my present or my future and I’m ready to properly release them now. Who do you want to be and what do you want to make happen in the second half of the year?
