It's International Stress Awareness Week this week.
The theme this year is “Optimising Employee Wellbeing through Strategic Stress Management.”
Stress isn't just at work, though. It shows up all over the place, from so many different sources.
We very rarely get a chance to recover before the next 'thing' happens.
Stress was never meant to be a 'bad' thing. Ultimately, it's supposed to drive us towards survival, but it can feel like the opposite sometimes.
What can we do to manage it and mitigate the impact of it on our health, wellbeing, family and work?
I've co-founded The Adaptable Human Project to help people manage stress and perform under pressure.
This week I'll be making a concerted effort to be more vocal across social media and try to share some advice about it. Hopefully you'll pick up something applicable along the way.
