15 new breastfeeding and perinatal peer supporters have now completed the online course. Congratulations 🙌

The next course runs in June (dates below)
There are two spaces left
If you want extra knowledge for yourself/friends and family or want to volunteer at a group /play centre or nursery with extra knowledge, perhaps you already work in health care then this is the course for you.

HBUK is open as normal this week for clinic and group (14th and 15th)
We are then closed all next week due to staff training and not back until Tuesday 28th April for clinic and Wednesday 29th for group

If you need a TENS machine, pump hire or feeding support please get in touch

At 9am this morning volunteers Steve (East) Graham(North) & Sean (West), met with Mike from Blood Bikes NICU Support at Tiverton Services.

Our volunteers were there to collect Donor Breast Milk (DBM) stocks to deliver out to NICU's in Exeter, Barnstaple & Plymouth.

Donor breast milk is critically important to poorly & premature babies, as it can double their survival chances if born before 32 weeks!
