Many people experiencing anxiety or depression feel unable to talk about their symptoms. Fear about what others will think is a big factor in keeping silent and can stop people from getting the help that they may need.
Talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health for everyone. It can even save lives. Talking can reduce stigma and help people feel comfortable enough to seek help when they need it.
There are many misconceptions about anxiety. In this blog I listed a few facts to help dispel any myths and take the stigma out of something that affects us all.
