Stretching isn't just about "feeling loose"—it’s a biological tune-up. When you stretch, you’re engaging in a complex physiological process that goes way beyond just pulling on a muscle.

The Science of the Stretch:
Sarcomere Lengthening: Regular stretching helps maintain the optimal length of your sarcomeres—the tiny building blocks of your muscle fibers—ensuring they can generate power efficiently.
The Golgi Tendon Organ (GTO): This is your body’s "safety switch." Proper stretching helps recalibrate these sensory receptors, allowing your muscles to relax and increase their range of motion without triggering a protective contraction.
