Todmorden Health Centre Champions hosted their annual Christmas party for all the members who attend their groups which are, Exercise to Music,(Mon 5.30pm), Art group (Tues 1.30-3.30pm) Knit or Natter 1.30-3.30pm) and regulars at our Coffee Mornings (every Thurs 9.30-11.30am).
We also have many Adult Learners who attend with their Carers.
We decorated the room with festive flare, thanks to Debbie and her many helpers and this year a Xmas tree, decorated with knitted bobbles made by Zoe. Not forgetting Ann who slaved in the kitchen making sure all the food was perfect for our guests.
Santa and Mrs Claus paid us a visit and of course had a gift and Christmas Card for everyone.
January will see us visiting the Hipperdrome for the St Joseph’s Players Pantomine - ‘oh yes we will’ x
Anyone wanting to call on and see what we do, with a view to one of our activities, are welcome to just call in and see for yourselves, you will be made most welcome.

Some of our Art and Knit or Natter groups enjoying our trip, this week to Lytham St Anne’s, where they enjoyed a walk round the shops, a cuppa, lunch, or a stroll down the front! Breathing in the salty sea air.
The weather was good , and everyone enjoyed what is becoming their annual visit. Thank you Judith our Trip Organiser extrordanaire, another successful trip out for our ladies and gentlemen x

Some of the artwork currently displayed at Todmorden College, created at our Art Group which we run every Tuesday 1.30-3.30pm at the Health Centre - come and join us - all basic materials provided including refreshments free of charge with (donation box available). Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, we’d love you to join us x

Just to let you know- Tuesdays are our busiest day. We had eight people in the office yesterday at one point! Please consider coming on Monday or Thursdays which tend to be quieter. If you think the enquiry might take more than 20 mins or is very confidential then you can call to explain and we may be able to make an afternoon appointment. 01706 817926.
