I had a great day today, delivering Dementia Awareness training to the wonderful staff at a care home in Littleborough. Thanks to all who attended for making me feel most welcome.

Our sensory deprivation exercise shows the importance of breaking complex tasks down into manageable, bitesize chunks. It also underpins the need to praise the effort, not the outcome.

Right, that's the Tarmac site safety inductions completed for Tunstead Cement Plant.
Risk assessments and method statements duly prepared.
MPQC and SPA passports ready.
Full PPE required for this one!

Off to Derbyshire for a couple of days risk assessing.

I'm going up to Dundee for three days, see if I can turn round the health and safety of a care home that's currently in special measures. 😁

I've received four phone calls over the last two weeks that start with-
"Is that Geoff? You've been recommended to me by..."

These calls relate to fire risk assessments, first aid training, fire safety training and our complete health and safety consultancy services.
