Back pain has the worst PR.

The second it flares up, your brain writes a horror story.

Disc. Damage. Degeneration. Disaster.

Most of the time? None of that.

Back pain is common. It’s reactive. It’s sensitive.

And the longer you avoid moving because you’re scared, the louder it gets.

But pain first thing doesn’t automatically mean something is “wrong.”

Your body has been still all night.
Stiffness is normal. Sensitivity is common.

The goal isn’t to panic.
It’s to move — gradually and confidently.

You’re not “broken”.
You might just be dehydrated.

Electrolytes aren’t a fitness fad. They’re minerals your muscles and nerves need to work properly — sodium, potassium, magnesium.

Low levels =

I see it all the time in clinic. People training hard, rehabbing well
 and still feeling rubbish.

Water alone isn’t always enough — especially if you sweat, train, work long days, or live on coffee (no judgement ☕).

Just over 5 months ago I felt trapped.
Exhausted. Burnt out. Wondering how this had quietly become my normal.

Fast forward

Egypt in March.
Barbados in June.
China and Dubai in September — turning 30 somewhere between the dreams and the decisions.

Campervan adventures with Rocco đŸŸ.
Time with my family and my partner — the stuff that actually matters.

Back in the gym.
Lifting heavier than I ever have.
Running again, with a couple of events in the diary — not to prove anything, just because my body finally feels like mine again.

Investing in equipment so my clients get better outcomes, not guesswork.
Attending courses to bring new skills, sharper decisions, and more confidence into every session.
Growing a business that lets me treat people properly — not rushed, not boxed in, not burnt out.

I always dreamt of this life.
I just had to trust it would become real — and keep showing up until it did.
