🤱🤰👶 Are you an expectant parent, looking for a friendly, factual yet fun antenatal group... then look no further!

🔥🌳Our UNIQUE Boots & Brambles Antenatal sessions are held totally outdoors in our beautiful woodland - around our campfire circle (complete with marshmallows!) 🌳🔥

🌳Sessions are run by a team comprising of qualified midwife Katherine and experienced mum Fran - previous attendees have commented how much they valued having this combination of medical expertise and hands-on experience! 👶🌳

All sessions run over a weekend and include plenty of time for questions - no question is un-askable!!

We are having a rebrand at Muddies To Be and transforming, like a butterfly from the chrysalis, into Boots & Brambles Antenatal. We will still have the same lovely woodland setting, the combination of midwife expertise and mum experience and plenty of snacks to provide everything you need from an antenatal class.

🌳🔥🤰🤱 A LOVELY day spent in the woods at our Muddies to Be antenatal session! 🤱🤰
We discussed all things pregnancy, labour and birth and it turns out that the biscuit guide to cervical dilation was a BIG hit with our resident robin (who kept sneaking in and nabbing biscuits! See comments for pics!!! By the end of the day he had made it off with several mini cookies, nibbled a waffle and flew away with an impressive 9cm cookie! 🧇🍪🤣

🤰🌳 Just your usual Saturday afternoon re-enacting a C-section in the woods and demonstrating birthing positions in the meadow! 🤰🌳

🤱Next week's session is about all things postnatal and we will soon be advertising our September Muddies to Be sessions! 🤱🤰

🫖☕Remember our "Tea under the Trees" coffee morning on July 17th is now open for booking via our website - a session for adults to come and enjoy our woods and have cake and tea around the campfire whilst raising money for Zephyr's an amazing local charity supporting families who have lost a child ☕🫖

🌳🔥 It appears in "Fran world" the weekend continues up to Tuesday! 🙈🤣 Must make a note NOT to announce these things when I have a CRAZY busy work weekend! (Having announced our Tea under the Trees would be open for booking over the weekend...it is NOW OPEN!) 🌳🙈

🫖🌳 Come and join us on Saturday 17th July 10-11.30 for ‘Tea under Trees’ – our new coffee morning in the woods! Unlike most of our other sessions, Tea under Trees is for the grown-ups – a chance to enjoy the woods, try out some woodland crafts and have a cuppa around the campfire.
We know that being a parent can be hard, whether you are expecting your first child or had your sixth a few years ago. This group is designed to give you the benefits of being in the outdoors and enjoy some covid-secure, in-person company and support.🔥🌳

🫖🌳Tea under Trees is open to anyone; if you have children you are welcome to bring them along but this is not a normal Muddy Feet playgroup. There will be some toys out but this session is mostly about the adults! We will have:
• A campfire and marshmallows (vegetarian options available)
• Woodland crafts
• Hot drinks
• Other lovely people to chat too (including a midwife if you want to have a more specific chat about pregnancy or the first few weeks of having a baby)
Tea under the Trees will cost £5 per adult, with all profits going to Zephyrs, a charity supporting families who have lost a child. We will also be selling cakes on the day and have a donation box available should you wish to make a donation. (http://www.zephyrsnottingham.org.uk/). Due to covid, numbers will be limited and booking is currently essential.
