Tomintoul Richmond Memorial Hall Welcome to Tomintoul’s Richmond Memorial Hall, at the heart of our community in the Cairngorms National Park.

We provide a home for local clubs and groups, and are available to hire for parties, events, meetings, in fact almost anything you can think of! RIchmond Memorial Hall is located on Tomnabat Lane, just off the main street of Tomintoul. The hall is an important part of the community providing facilities to the local school, fitness clubs, mums and toddlers groups as well as annual Christmas parties for local pensioners and schoolchildren. The hall is available for hire - the small hall can cater for upto 50 people, the larger hall upto 200.

☀️Did you know we have solar panels?! ⚡️

They're really helpful in warming our water without needing to use our electricity-hungry immersion heater. Unfortunately we're having some problems with our system at the moment, which was installed quite a while ago. We're on the hunt for recommendations of someone who understands them who could look at the system and tell us whether it's economical to fix, or whether it's reached the end of its useful life. If you have any suggestions it would be brilliant if you could message us, please!

A big Merry Christmas from all at Glenlivet Estate.

The Visitor Centre is now closed until the 31st December when it will open for the start of the Tomintoul250 Torchlight Procession. We will be serving hot drinks from 530pm - please bring your own reusable cup.

This procession kicks off a year of events celebrating the 250th anniversary of Tomintoul. Volunteers have been as busy as elves organising a whole range of events with something to suit everyone - we hope to see you throughout what promises to be a very exciting 2026!
