🌿🚌 A lovely day out to celebrate World Heritage Day!
Our residents enjoyed a minibus trip to Down House, best known as the home of Charles Darwin. Darwin lived there with his family for 40 years, where he worked on his groundbreaking theories and wrote On the Origin of Species.
It was a fascinating and enjoyable outing, with plenty of fresh air, history, and smiles all round. 💚

🚌🌿 Out and about at Seal Community Farm! 💚🐏

This week our residents enjoyed a wonderful minibus trip to Seal Community Farm, taking in the fresh air and spent time feeding and caring for the animals.
This project aims not only to teach the community where their food comes from, but to encourage care and respect, animal husbandry, and a deeper understanding of the farming world.
Just as importantly, it focuses on wellbeing and mental health — something we know can be greatly improved by time spent outdoors and with animals. 💚🐏
Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the farm’s woodland backdrop provided the perfect peaceful setting for a truly uplifting day. A big thank you to the farm and our fab minibus drivers for making it such a special experience!
Our home and residents look forward to collaborating more in the future.

A huge thank you to FEAST Community Larder for donating some gorgeous, beautifully scented tulips 💐
Our residents loved getting creative with a flower‑arranging session, filling the home with colour, smiles and the wonderful smell of fresh spring flowers.
It was a relaxing and joyful activity, sparking conversation, creativity and plenty of admiration for everyone’s beautiful arrangements. Thank you, FEAST Community Larder, for helping us make moments like these so special 💗
