A huge well done to our amazing Activities and Wellbeing team at Tonbridge House for supporting the FEAST Saturday Larder at St Stephen's our local church! 💛

This is Kelly from Tonbridge House. Kelly dropped into our Saturday larder last weekend with a box almost bigger than her. We’re incredibly grateful to the residents, their families, and the staff at Tonbridge House for their generous financial and store-cupboard donations.

We couldn't do what we do without the intelligent, kind, professional, supportive, amusing and passionate men who make up our teams across the country. And, of course, where would we be without our marvellous residents, whose life stories never fail to inspire and surprise us 💙

Today, we were delighted to welcome members of our local police station to our Blue Light Café!

It was great to share a coffee and conversation with those who work so hard to keep our community safe. ☕👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

What a perfect day for a trip! 🌞

Today, our wonderful minibus drivers took our residents to Poult Wood’s Clubhouse for a delicious lunch.

With the sun shining, the views were absolutely breathtaking—such a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

What an amazing day at Tonbridge House!

We had a fun-filled Children in Need fundraising event packed with activities and smiles:

🎻 Beautiful music from Victoria the Violinist
🍰 And our talented chefs wowed everyone with incredible Pudsey-themed cakes!

This World Diabetes Day, Diabetes UK are challenging the stigma surrounding diabetes and encouraging people to reflect on how they talk about the condition.

Diabetes UK found that, across the UK, over 8 in 10 people with type 1 and over 7 in 10 people with type 2 diabetes say they experience blame and judgement for their condition. It is important that we are all conscious of how the things we say impact others, because our words matter. Together, we can and help improve the lives of those living with diabetes.

Today we had the privilege of accompanying one of our residents to the Tonbridge War Memorial to lay a Remembrance wreath.

He proudly served in the British Army, and this was a truly poignant and meaningful moment for him—and for us.

We are honoured to support our residents in paying tribute to those who served and sacrificed. 🌺

To mark Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, our residents have taken part in memorial services across the country to honour those who served and continue to serve our country. For many of our residents, these dates hold personal significance and provide the opportunity to not only honour their own past, loved ones and friends, but also share memories of such an important part of their lives.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

A heartfelt thank you to St Stephen’s Church, for joining us today and leading a beautiful Remembrance prayer group.

It was a touching time to pause and reflect together with our residents. These moments of connection mean so much to our community.

Today was a day of reflection and creativity at Tonbridge House!

Some of our residents visited the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne, a truly special place to honor and remember those who served. It was a moving experience filled with gratitude and quiet contemplation.

For those who preferred an indoor activity, we embraced the spirit of remembrance by crafting poppies and creating a beautiful wreath together. A heartfelt way to pay tribute and share stories.

🌸 Flower Power at Tonbridge House! 🌸

Our residents had a wonderful time yesterday getting creative with flower arranging.

The room was full of smiles, laughter, and beautiful blooms! 🌼🌷

It’s amazing how a simple activity can bring so much joy and brighten everyone’s day.
