Shoulders carrying more than they should? This one’s for you. 🤍

This gentle shoulder release starts on hands and knees and works through a full sequence — warming up the wrists, opening through the shoulder, threading into a grounded twist, and finishing in child’s pose.

Here’s what we move through:
✨ Weight shift and arm lift to open the shoulder
✨ Wrist circles to warm and mobilise
✨ Thread the needle — arm under, press gently, lift toward the sky
✨ Floor twist with a supported press to deepen the release
✨ Opposite shoulder opening with a gentle wrap
✨ Back through the lift, then rest in child’s pose

Move slowly. Breathe into the tightness. Let the floor support you.

Remember to repeat on the other side — and notice which shoulder holds more tension. 💭

💾 Save this for your next moment of reset
▶️ Try 2–3 slow rounds each side and feel the difference

🌿 When stress lingers, it’s often because we never fully stop.

This full-day retreat was created for those who feel tired, stretched thin, or constantly “on” — and who know they need more than a quick fix.

After running popular workshops, I noticed how much calmer and more grounded people felt… and how often they said:
“I loved it — I just wanted more time.”

The Reset offers that time.
A full day to slow down, release tension, and let your nervous system truly settle — so you leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more resilient, with benefits that carry into daily life.

✨ The Reset: A Full Day Yoga Retreat for Stress, Fatigue & Deep Rest
📅 Saturday 7th March | 10am–5pm

🌱 You don’t need hours to begin feeling calmer.

When stress builds up, it’s easy to think you need a full day off, a holiday, or a big life change to reset.

But the nervous system responds to consistency, not intensity.

Five minutes of gentle movement.
A few slower breaths before bed.
Rolling your shoulders between tasks.

Small, repeated signals of safety tell the body it can soften.

This is something I remind people of often in my classes — calm isn’t created in one dramatic moment. It’s built through small, steady practices that support you day after day.

✨ What’s one small thing you could do today to support your nervous system?

I’ve been doing this joint practice for years — and it’s changed everything.

Stiff shoulders. Achy wrists. Tight hips. Knees that remind you they exist every time you stand up.

If any of that sounds familiar, this sequence is for you.

It’s a gentle, flowing practice designed to support healthy joints — and it’s especially helpful if you’re dealing with arthritis, joint pain, or stiffness that builds up from sitting, stress, or simply getting older.

I do this myself. Regularly. And the effects have been extraordinary.

In the full video, I walk you through each movement step by step so you can follow along easily from home. No equipment needed. No prior experience required.

Just slow, mindful movement that helps your body feel more mobile, more comfortable, and more supported.

🌿 Feeling stressed, exhausted, and like you never properly switch off?

Half term can leave us running on empty.
If your body and mind are asking for a proper reset, this is for you 🤍

After the success of hosting regular workshops, many shared that even a few hours left them feeling restored — but there was a desire to go deeper.

I created this full day retreat for those who want a more immersive experience.
To truly settle.
To release tension.
To allow the body and mind to feel calmer. ✨

Feeling depleted this winter? This gentle Qigong practice can help.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is the season of the Water element—a time to nourish your kidneys and bladder meridians, restore deep energy, and build resilience against the cold months.
This short practice includes:
∙ A gentle backbend and forward fold to open the kidney-bladder meridian line along your back
∙ Tracing and stimulating the meridians to clear energy blockages
∙ Bear pose: feet rooted, hips steady, twisting to activate and strengthen these vital energy pathways
Winter invites us to slow down and replenish. These movements support your body’s natural rhythm, helping you feel grounded, calm, and resourced—even when energy feels low.
Try this practice and notice: do you feel more grounded afterwards? 🐻

✨ What if one day really could change how you feel for weeks after?

Not in a dramatic, life-overhaul way.
But in a quieter one.

Less tension in your shoulders.
A steadier breath.
More patience.
A sense of being back in your body again.

That’s what happens when you’re given enough time to slow down.

This full day is gently paced — movement, rest, reflection — so your nervous system can actually land, not just momentarily switch off.

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need yoga experience.
You don’t need to “do it well”.

Just a willingness to pause.

🌿 A day of gentle yoga, yin, nidra, sound, creative reflection, nourishing food, and space — held carefully, so you can soften and reset.

If your body has been quietly asking for more rest than you’ve been giving it… this might be your sign 💛

🌿 A small shift in your breath can change how your whole body feels.

When we’re stressed, the nervous system is often stuck in alert mode.
You don’t need long practices to support it — sometimes a few conscious breaths are enough to begin.

Lengthening the exhale is one of the most accessible ways to ease tension and invite steadiness.

This is something I return to often in my teaching — simple, practical tools that support calm in real life.

✨ Try it today and notice what changes.

💛 Save this post so you can come back to it when you need it.
