Join us for our free monthly Community Coffee Mornings at St Stephen’s Church in Tonbridge - a relaxed and friendly get-together, brought to you by and ourselves, designed especially for those in retirement and later life.

Come along to enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and delicious cakes while catching up with others in the local community. Each month, we’ll also have live entertainment, from talented singers to wonderful performers, making every coffee morning a little extra special.

🌳 **Introducing the All About Home Care Forest!** 🌳

At All About Home Care, caring doesn’t stop with the people we support every day — it extends to the world around us too.

We’re proud to launch **The All About Home Care Forest**, a new initiative where we plant trees to celebrate the people who make our community special.

To start our forest, we’re planting **80 trees for our amazing existing clients and carers** as a thank you for being part of our journey. 💚

From now on, **every new client and every new member of our care team will have a tree planted in their honour.** As our care family grows, so will our forest.

We’ve also added a **website sustainability widget**, meaning trees are planted to help offset the carbon footprint of our website — so even visiting us online contributes to a greener future. 🌍

Meet the Owners of All About Home Care!

Geoff and Jim, friends for over 20 years, bring their combined experience in building successful technology companies and working in the investment world to All About Home Care.

Motivated by the shared loss of their mothers and personal caregiving experiences, they are working hard to provide high-quality care and build a business that makes a meaningful impact.

Geoff and Jim acquired All About Home Care in March 2024 and couldn't be prouder of having such a great team under the leadership of Rachael Fox our RM!

Everyone deserves access to the care funding they need. Sadly, the reality is that the system is often opaque, complicated, and incredibly difficult to navigate.

Jim Sellars, owner of All About Home Care, knows this all too well from painful personal experience.

Jim's mother, Lycia — the inspiration behind his involvement in All About Home Care — recently passed away after a long and courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Her journey not only shaped our mission to deliver the highest quality care, but also exposed the harsh realities families face when trying to secure vital care funding.

One source of funding, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) , is not means tested and is intended for individuals with complex needs, often near the end of life. However, CHC is notoriously complex, time-consuming, and difficult to apply for.

As Lycia’s condition deteriorated, she was initially awarded CHC funding — only for it to be withdrawn later without clear explanation or notice. Losing this support added immense stress at an already heartbreaking time. Lycia clearly met the eligibility criteria, and the family endured the exhausting appeals process.

After months of waiting, the decision was overturned and CHC funding was reinstated — but devastatingly, this only happened after Lycia had passed away.

At All About Home Care, we truly understand the emotional and practical challenges of caring for a loved one. Navigating care funding should not be one of them.
