This month is Prostate Cancer Awareness month across the UK.
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men, your risk increases if you are over 50 years old, you’re black or have a family history of the disease (Prostate Cancer UK).
Prostate cancer can sometimes present without symptoms, but possible signs may include:
Difficulty starting or stopping urination
Weak flow
Needing to urinate more frequently, especially at night
Blood in urine or semen
Persistent lower back or pelvic discomfort
If you have concerns, speaking with your GP is important.
