I run the Slimming World group at the Village Hotel Sa1, Swansea. Free parking & free refreshments. The group is currently Monday 5.30pm but from January 1st 2026 it's moving to Thursday. A brand new Saturday morning group launches 7.30am on January 3rd. I feel so lucky i get to support members on their weight loss journey & help make great lifestyle changes to form new healthy habits. I have been a consultant for 26 years & still love every minute of working with members. In group there is so much learning, help & support, top tips shared & recipes swapped. Meet my fabulous member Melissa who attends my Heritage park group Friday 7.30am Mel shares her journey in her words below.. 🥰

I rejoined Slimming World with Nicola last October after celebrating my 50th birthday. I need surgery but as my BMI was almost 38 the surgeon wouldn’t operate until I got it down to 30-32. I’ve got my love of cooking back and im enjoying getting the body magic done with my PT. The support I get in group is a big factor in the plan working, not just from Nicola who is amazing at her job but also from the other members.

I’ve recently hit my target with a total loss of 4 stone 1lb. I saw the surgeon this week and my BMI is under 27 so I can finally have my surgery. I feel fitter and healthier at 50 than I did at 30.

if your thinking of joining us come along you wont regret it! Our group is so friendly & finished by 8.30am if your going to work from there its a great time!
