Meet my fabulous member Melissa who attends my Heritage park group Friday 7.30am Mel shares her journey in her words below.. 🥰

I rejoined Slimming World with Nicola last October after celebrating my 50th birthday. I need surgery but as my BMI was almost 38 the surgeon wouldn’t operate until I got it down to 30-32. I’ve got my love of cooking back and im enjoying getting the body magic done with my PT. The support I get in group is a big factor in the plan working, not just from Nicola who is amazing at her job but also from the other members.

I’ve recently hit my target with a total loss of 4 stone 1lb. I saw the surgeon this week and my BMI is under 27 so I can finally have my surgery. I feel fitter and healthier at 50 than I did at 30.

if your thinking of joining us come along you wont regret it! Our group is so friendly & finished by 8.30am if your going to work from there its a great time!

My amazing Target member Mary attends Slimming World Friday 7.30am at the Heritage Park hotel & shares her Journey below..

Summer 24 v Summer 25. I joined Nicola's class on August 16th last year because of problems I had struggling to walk due to the arthritis I have in both knees. I reached my target of a 4 1/2 stone loss in May of this year. My walking (and dancing) has improved SO much and I've even had my blood pressure medication reduced due to the weight loss. I couldn't have done it without the support of Nicola Jones and the Friday 7.30am class at the Heritage Park Hotel.

The groups are welcoming new members & changes on the poster of group days & times are attached for more info & exclusive discounts to our groups come along! 🥰

I joined Slimming World in January because I was tired of feeling frumpy and unhappy. I knew I had to make a change, not just for myself but to be healthier for my daughter and our future. I rejoined Nicola’s 5.30pm group in Treorchy and was welcomed by Nic and her lovely members. Being back in control of my eating and making healthy eating habits really had a positive impact on not only my physical health but my mental health.

I’m feeling much more confident and comfortable in my own skin and it’s all thanks to the support I receive from my fabulous consultant and fellow members. I can’t recommend Slimming World enough. I eat wholesome, satisfying foods, never feel hungry and end my days feeling positive and happy. The key to success is staying to group every week for support and motivation 💕

How amazing is my member Richard from my Treorchy group. He has transformed his life with losing 6 & 1/2 stone! The difference is incredible in his health & mobility plus a cardiac arrest possibly has saved his life plus he’s looking years younger! I’ve asked him to share his journey so you see how life changing the weight loss is!! X

I came along to support my wife as due to medical issues I didn’t think it would have much effect.
How wrong could I be. I no longer use a walking stick, my bloody pressure has come down, BP tables dropped from 5 to 2! A few health issues along the way on my weight loss journey, after a cardiac arrest the consultant said without the weight loss I wouldn’t be here now.
6 and half stone lighter and looking forward to getting to my target soon.
The groups are so friendly and helpful, you realise that you aren’t alone, there’s always help there when needed and great tips picked up in class.

Groups are 45 mins max for image therapy filled with food ideas, occasion planning, tips from members who are doing the best & stategies planned to smash the 7 days ahead.. 🙌
Cant wait for the new sessions to see new & returning members back x 🥰
