What is RSV? 🤔
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a common virus that affects the lungs and airways. Almost all adults will get RSV at some point.
For most people, symptoms are mild and can include a cough, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, and feeling tired.
However, it can be more serious for some people, particularly older adults, pregnant women, infants, and people with certain health conditions.
Symptoms can then include wheezing, shortness of breath or a fever, and can sometimes lead to pneumonia.
