Christmas at Woodland View wouldn’t be complete without a show-stopping dessert table 🎄✨

Our residents were treated to the very best of festive indulgence, enjoying a traditional Christmas pudding, beautifully served and full of seasonal warmth, alongside a light and fruity pavlova topped with fresh fruit. To finish, a delightful cheese platter offered the perfect savoury balance.

From classic flavours to elegant treats, every bite was enjoyed and every moment savoured. A truly delicious way to celebrate Christmas together, creating smiles, comfort, and cherished memories ❤️🍰🧀

Paws, smiles, and plenty of excitement here at Woodland View Lodge today! 🐾💙

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a very special doggie visitor, and the joy they brought was instant. From wagging tails and gentle cuddles to lots of laughter and happy conversations, our residents loved every moment. Animal visits are so special — they lift spirits, reduce stress, encourage connection, and bring comfort in the most natural way.

Seeing faces light up, hands reaching out for pats, and stories being shared reminded us just how powerful animals are for wellbeing. Thank you to our furry friend for making our day extra pawsome 🐶✨ We can’t wait for the next visit!

This week, we were delighted to welcome Jess, who came in to lead a wonderfully calming and uplifting yoga class. From gentle stretches to mindful movements, everyone got involved at their own pace, enjoying the opportunity to relax, unwind, and feel good both physically and mentally.

The session was filled with smiles, positive energy, and a real sense of togetherness — a beautiful reminder of how important movement, mindfulness, and shared experiences are for overall wellbeing 🧘‍♀️✨

Residents, families, and staff will come together to sit side by side, sharing a delicious festive meal, lots of laughter, and wonderful conversation. From the perfectly cooked turkey to the crispy roast potatoes, vegetables, and all the festive extras, every plate will be filled with Christmas cheer.

Here at Woodland View Lodge, our residents have been getting creative and having lots of fun by pimping up their mobility devices! ✨🦽

From bright colours and personal touches to decorations that truly reflect their personalities, these fabulous transformations have brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and pride. It’s been wonderful to see everyone expressing themselves, supporting one another, and showing that mobility aids can be both practical and full of character.

A huge well done to our residents for their creativity — and to our amazing team for encouraging confidence, independence, and joy every step (and roll!) of the way 💙👏

Creativity is a big part of life at Woodland View Lodge, and today we turned the home into our very own festive workshop! 🎄🎨
Painting pine cones for Christmas had everyone giggling, concentrating, and comparing their masterpieces — and let’s just say some of them may give the elves a run for their money! 😉✨
What a fun start to the festive season!
