First discovering yoga whilst travelling in Thailand and India, Jackie Robinson has nearly 30 years experience. She took her love for yoga to another level 10 years ago, graduating as a teacher through the Devon School of Yoga. She has since studied yoga therapy and runs regular classes on the Rame Peninsula for all levels, mums and babies, children and specialist rehabilitative sessions. Classes can be attended in person or online, please book via the website.

Day 31: Join me today with a wonderful and positive pose, Cresent Moon ( Ardha Chandrasana). This posture is really great for improving mobility in the hips, flexibility in your quads and spine, shoulders. It’s a very strong and uplifting posture leaving you feeling energised and positive. Day 29: Join me today for a variation of the Tree balance. This balance is quite challenging when you rotate your head and change your dristi (focal point). All balances are so beneficial for strengthening both the body and the mind, and can be practiced any time of the day, near a chair or wall if needed. Day 28: Join me today to practice Heaven & Earth Stretch. This a wide legged pose which strengthens and promotes flexibility in the legs, spine and shoulders. Day 27: Join me today to loosen up the spine in Cat/Cow. This gentle flowing sequence is so beneficial for increasing mobility in the spine, it can help with back pain and sciatica. You don’t have to be on a mat, a blanket or carpet is fine. If it’s painful to kneel you could try placing your knees on a cushion. Keep the breath smooth and flowing. Day 26: Join me today to practice out balances with The Eagle Pose ( Garudasana). This pose is beneficial for core strength, strengthening the supporting leg, opening the upper back, and focusing your mind. I can’t emphasise enough on how beneficial this is for strengthening your back and increasing flexibility on your hamstrings. Practice daily if you can! Day 24: Join me today for this wide legged warm up! Really connect and deepen your breath. This practice is really goood for increasing flexibility of the hamstrings,increasing mobility in your spine and shoulders and it really warms you up leaving you feeling energised and ready for the day.
