There are over 100 strains of HPV. Some of these are called high-risk as they may lead to certain cancers, including cervical, pe**le and a**l.

This is why the NHS offers the HPV vaccine to boys and girls from the age of 12-13.

If you have asthma or COPD, regular medical reviews are essential for your health. Annual check-ups help make sure your condition is well controlled, your inhaler technique is correct, and your medication is working as it should. Reviews also give you the chance to talk about any changes in symptoms, flare-ups, or concerns. Missing reviews can increase the risk of an asthma attack or hospital admissions.

Children under 6 are now being offered the MMRV vaccine instead of MMR as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme.

This replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.
You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.
