Do you know how a woman’s uterus looks like in real life?

Think whatever about me… 😃🤷‍♀️ But I find all the facts about our body fascinating. I’ve seen a video of a dissection of woman’s uterus recently and seeing that amazing organ out of the body, its size and structure… and then thinking how cool it actually is… that it can allow new life to start its journey in there, hold it, nourish it, stretch out during pregnancy and at the end of pregnancy deliver a baby and shrink again… Just wow. Mind blowing.
Even without pregnancy our uterus is working hard every single menstrual cycle without us even realising it.

I was always fascinated by the womb. ♥️
It is not just a physical organ but also a sacred space, a centre of our feminine power, a centre of our deep wisdom and intuition, a source of our vitality, the centre of our creativity, a space where we giving birth to new life, new ideas and projects, a centre of sacred sexuality…

Our womb deserves much more attention. ♥️ Our womb deserves same care as any other organ in our body. ♥️

Unless curriculum will be filled with these basics...
Parents should step in and foster the channel for the knowledge for a better future of their children and their health.

I am teaching my own daughters about all the things mentioned above. You can too You are their first teacher and you are the role model for more years ahead.

Is your menstruation as usual this summer or is it up and down and all over the place like on the swing? 🤷‍♀️🙄🤔😳

Maybe your bleeding came late or early, maybe your flow was much heavier than normal or unusually light, maybe your cycle was a bit longer or shorter than usual…

What can be behind?

Well… basically anything may affect our menstrual cycle. Everything that is affecting our physical or emotional state during our whole cycle can be linked to our cycle as a response…

❓Did you eat enough or did you starve yourself?
❓Did you eat enough nutritious food?
❓Did you travel?
❓Did you exercise more?
❓Where was your stress level?
❓Did you experience something unexpected or traumatic?
❓Did you have time to rest or did you push yourself and overwork?
❓Did you have enough sleep?
❓Did you change something in your lifestyle?
❓Were you ill or sick?
❓Are you taking any new medication or supplements?
❓How are your close relationships? Is everything ok at home?
❓Did you ovulate?

If you don’t chart your cycle yet… think about it. Charting is a very good tool for better understanding of your body and menstrual cycle.

If you already started to chart your menstrual cycle 👍👍👍 just take a look in there and investigate what was going on in your life since your last menstruation… I believe you will find your answer. 😉

Things I don’t do while bleeding… 🩸🩸🩸

Even thought I love fresh raw veggies and salads. I don’t eat the same amounts of raw vegetables during my menstruation.
I don’t skip meals.
I don’t eat sweet,salty and greasy food, or junk food.
I don’t drink caffeine or alcohol.
I don’t stay up late.
I don’t push myself to do more or something what can wait.
I don’t exercise.
I don’t feel guilty if I rest more.
I don’t socialise very much.
Even though I don’t have any troubles to swim/dip in cold water and even though I actually love it… I don’t do that.
I don’t let my body and feet get cold.

All the above should be normalised while bleeding.
We are not small men. We are wombmen. 😉♥️ Our body has specific needs during certain times of our cycle. Our body was designed to be cyclical. ♥️ I avoid certain activities during my menstruation because I listen to my body and her needs. I respect her very much. ♥️

Is there a space for you?
Do you have time to work on the most important project of all… yourself?

There is no later.
Be your own project right now.

Take care of your body.
Take care of your mind.
Take care of your health.
Take care of your dreams.
Take care of your inner world.

The most rewarding job is one you do for yourself. No matter if you need to demolish all you believe and know first before you start to build yourself once again.

Remember to recharge your inner battery during your menstruation. ♥️🩸♥️

Find your lost connection with your own body again.

By honoring your body's need for rest, you set a positive example of self-care, which can positively impact other areas of your life as well. We lost connection with the nature.
We lost connection with cycles of the nature.
We lost connection with our own body.
We lost connection with our own cycles.

We forgot the purpose of the winter season.
We forgot the purpose of our Inner Winter…

It’s time for reconnection. ♥️

Inner Winter is a beautiful time for slowing down, stopping and just being, meditation, connection with self, self-care, alone time, silence, inner talk, journaling, sleep, relaxation, gentle stretching, warmth for your body…

Honour your menstruation and rest during this time of your cycle. ♥️
By resting and slowing down you can reduce stress and fatigue, improve quality of your sleep, reduce menstrual pain and menstrual discomfort, improve hormonal harmony, improve your mood, improve your connection with yourself and your feelings…

By honouring rest during your menstruation, you take your power back to yourself. You create a positive example of self care for yourself and model this to others. That is a new way of living within and with your cycle. Cycle awareness which can positively impact you, areas of your life and others around you. ♥️

Did you ever try Chickpea cookie dough?

I’ve had a sweet tooth for something sweetish but also healthy with a bit of dark chocolate (as you can guess… it was right before my period showed up 😃) so I’ve made some Chickpea cookie dough and believe or not… it was very satisfying.

In case you would like to try some yourself…
You will need…
🟡1 cup of boiled chickpeas
🟡1 tablespoon tahini
🟡2 tablespoons nut butter of your choice
🟡5-7 pre soaked dates
🟡dash of sea salt
🟡piece of chopped dark chocolate or some chocolate chips
Optional: vanilla essence, cinnamon, cacao powder…. Use your imagination and your favourite flavours.

How to make it:
In the food processor blender together chickpeas, tahini, nut butter, dash of salt and pre soaked dates until smooth. (If you would like to add anything else, add your extra ingredients now.) Check the taste and adjust if needed. Add chopped chocolate or chocolate chips and mix them in briefly.
Serve with a bit of chopped dark chocolate if fancy. 😉
