Fearne Cotton captures this beautifully.

Reconnecting with our younger selves is often a vital step in healing and moving forward. While revisiting the past can sometimes be painful, it can also be incredibly therapeutic, liberating, and deeply healing.

Much of the coaching work I offer is grounded in inner child healing and nervous system regulation, and time and again, I’ve witnessed just how profoundly transformative this process can be.

Jumping on the AI band wagon with this one but it brought up a lot.

I have done a lot of therapy over the years looking at how I can help heal younger parts of myself. I have imagined hugging a younger me often. I have welcomed her into my arms and asked her to help me take life less seriously, to look around in awe again, to dream big, to care less what others think in the most childlike way. I've also needed to soothe past versions of myself. The bits that got broken along the way. The parts that are still wounded and go on the defence.

It can feel awkward, self indulgent, maybe even cheesy to suggest looking after your inner child, but its also essential. We all need to go back and metaphorically give that part of ourselves a hug. We need to tell her/him its all going to be alright, and even in moments when its not, that you'll get through it.

I wouldn't warn her of what's to come. Some of it is too horrid, but some of it is utterly, mind blowing in the best possible way and I would want that to be a surprise for her.

Never abandon that part of yourself. She/he always needs you ❤️

I’m looking for 3 individuals, male or female, to take part in an exciting opportunity at Torquay’s first ever original hot yoga studio.
It doesn’t matter your age( providing your over 18) ability, body shape or experience everyone is welcome. If you’re based in or around Torquay and would love to try hot yoga for free, this is for you.
You’ll receive a few complimentary sessions, and in return, you’ll be asked to join some demonstration classes for new students..

Stress leads to burnout
This can be avoided by changing our old habits and recognising the signs.
Burnout is often underestimated. It is a serious condition that can have physical and psychological consequences.
Often we think having a holiday will fix things but thats just a short term fix.

Imagine a bottle of water over spilling from a constant drip. Just pouring out a tiny bit of the water at the top and expecting it not to fill back up. If there’s a tap still dripping into the bottle it won’t be long until It overspills again.
We need to fully empty the bottle and fix the drip.

Burnout will keep coming back until we learn to do things differently.

Thats why I designed the drift model a 3 month transformational program.
I only work with 5 clients on a 121 basis at any one time so that I dedicate my time to you to help you feel better and create transformation.

I understand first hand how debilitating burnout can be and I’m here to hold space and help you.
