Absolutely amazing sea swim around Burgh Island yesterday with this wonderful adventure-loving group of ladies 🏊🏼‍♀️ thank you to Ivan from Open Water Devon for leading the tour 🙏 We were blessed with sunshine and great visibility - it was such a treat to explore all the beautiful channels and caves around the island ☀️ 1.5 hours in the water … around 2km, my longest sea swim to date … still buzzing from it 🌊

Massive congratulations to everyone who completed the Torbay Half Marathon & 10k on Sunday 🥇 Special shoutout to my awesome club mates from Riviera Racers and all of my amazing clients who took part, with a good few PBs achieved 🌟 The club provided pacers for the 10k and half marathon events which is a really important role, supporting many other athletes to achieve their targets times 🏃‍♂️ 🙌

An inspiring weekend at the and SW conference in Exmouth. Such an incredible line-up of speakers with some key themes of multi-disciplinary collaboration, communication (in all its many forms!) and women’s health running through many of the sessions yesterday and today. Plus brilliant talks on practical applications of strength and conditioning in rehab; some learning & unlearning of movement principles; and great practical sessions on breathwork, manual therapy off the couch, and surgical scars. Helping to move our industry forward with evidence based practice and client centred care. So much to take away to continue to learn and grow as a Soft Tissue Therapist 🧠

It was also lovely to catch up with some old friends and meet some new! 😃

Thank you to everyone who put so much work into organising this weekend and creating a wonderful environment for us all to pause, reflect, connect and grow 🙏

So much fun taking part in the Agatha Christie sea swim last weekend 🏊🏼‍♀️ Unfortunately the strong easterlies made the planned 1 mile coastal swim unsafe but the organisers and life guard team did a brilliant job of modifying the route at short notice, enabling us all to get in safely for a shortened route and take on those choppy waves! 🌊 Great to see so many people there supporting the event which raises funds for the wonderful Rowcroft Hospice 🙏
