Early detection of skin cancer can save lives!

During a mole or lesion screening consultation, a dermascope—a handheld skin microscope is used to closely examine your moles or skin lesions which will capture photos. This quick, non-invasive check allows the dermatologist to see details beneath the surface of the skin, helping to spot early signs of skin cancer or other concerns.

You will be asked a few simple questions and your details, Including your specialist photos will be reviewed by a Consultant Dermatologist very quickly, usually within 24 hours, and your results including any advice will be sent directly to you - giving you peace of mind.

The regulations around who can perform thread lift procedures are complicated in England, and this means that you MUST do your due diligence when choosing a practitioner for your treatments 🩺

Currently, regulations state that thread lifts carried out by healthcare professionals must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who deem it a surgical procedure.

However, this does NOT apply to non-medics, who can carry out the treatment without regulation. On top of this, there are a number of courses being advertised which offer training that can be carried out in just six hours. And as a result, complications are rising.

If you're thinking about having a thread lift, it's crucial that you do your research and seek an experienced, medical clinician for treatment.

Threads are highly specialised treatments that require significant training. Although they don't involve an operation, they are more complex and invasive than other aesthetic treatments such as Botox and fillers.

You only get one face. Please do your research and ensure you keep it safe.
