Today I have hit an important milestone, and officially opened my private online practice!

I am fully verified as an Accredited Registrant of the NCPS ( -02913) and have started my own private practice. I will be serving clients of all backgrounds, orientations and identities with a special interest in adult women with ADHD.

Happy news today for many! This landmark ruling will bring so much relief to vulnerable people, gifting them back years of their lives which will no longer have to be spent in medical limbo.

A landmark decision allows patients to choose a preferred provider paid for by the NHS, but will it help overstretched services?

Sometimes we have to show up for our future self and do the hard thing they will thank us for doing. Sometimes we owe our past self the treat they were getting through the day for.

I believe that when we intentionally look after past and future, the trust is established that we will be cared for in the present ♥️

This is a good point that has come up for me before during the deep questioning which so often comes with the territory of being or working with survivors of abuse. Even if that were true, what would the result be? Would it make the situation easier to bear or accept if that person couldn't help their actions? The answer is probably going to be no!

I can start this week pleased to say that I have completed 20 hours of client work (actually 25, but accreditation requirements are a cruel mistress) and am therefore 1/5 to the qualification point! I hope to continue to provide care for many hundreds more 🙏
