Registered Manager Vacancy
Blossom Children Home (Torquay), a nurturing and supportive environment for children in Devon, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead, support, and develop a dedicated team of care professionals, fostering a positive and child-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Overseeing the welfare and development of the children in our care.
* Managing and mentoring a team of residential support workers.
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
* Developing and implementing care plans.
* Managing budgets and resources effectively.
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
We are looking for someone with:
* A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare).
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a children's residential setting.
* A comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children.
