✨ My beautiful Grandma passed peacefully at 4:44am on Tuesday, with my sister and me by her side - just as she had always been by ours throughout our lives ✨

The specialists said she only had hours, but in true Grandma style she defied the odds and gave us six more precious nights. We called it our “sleepover,” just like old times, and made every moment count.

We want to give our heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff on Cheetham Hill Ward who treated my Grandma like one of their own. They cared for her with such compassion, while also looking after me and my sister by bringing us food, finding us chairs to sleep in, and even sharing our tears. Just some of the names that we can remember; Naomi, Vikki, Kat, Leo, Sophie, Chris (for sorting parking!), and the Chaplains who checked in on us and prayed with us daily - we will be forever grateful to you all.

I’ve taken this week to rest and decompress, but I am now home and will be switching my work phone back on tomorrow (Monday)to catch up with everyone.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and patience. I look forward to seeing you soon. 💙

I wanted to share a personal update 💙

Since Wednesday evening I’ve been at the hospital by my Grandma’s bedside. We were told she was about to pass, and although she is now unconscious, in true form she has shown her incredible strength - just as she has her whole life - and is still with us. Tonight will be my fifth night sleeping in a chair beside her, holding her hand and stroking her head until the very end. My heart is breaking, but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else 💔

Because of this, I won’t be returning to work until further notice. I still don’t currently have my work phone or laptop, but my partner has kindly sent emails to those who have had or are due an appointment soon. If you haven’t received one, please check your junk/spam folder. More emails will be going out for later appointments this week.

It’s my final day here in Dubai 🥲

I watched the show ‘Le Perle’ last night and this photo is the view from just around the corner 😍

I’ll be back on home turf tomorrow night and straight back to work on Wednesday!

I’m fully booked until the 19th but Pa has some availability this week with her offer of 90mins for just £60.

Woken up with prickly heat rash 😩😂 it always gets me! 😂

Here’s a view from outside the Versace Hotel that we visited the other day for a pool and a massage. On Monday’s it’s called ‘Lady’s Day’ where all of the ladies get 50% off all treatments 🥳

Although it’s my second time in Dubai, I’m certainly seeing so much more of the place than the last time. It definitely helps that my other half used to live here so he’s able to show me all the best spots 🥰

Pa is fully booked today but does have a couple of spaces on Sunday. Use the booking system to check times and to book in. There’s no need to pay a deposit when booking with Pa.

Skin at 41 🤩

I’m forever getting compliments on my skin & asked what I do and use.

I keep my skincare routine simple by using Clinicare Pure Range. I feel a lot of people can over complicate their skincare routine when they really don’t need too.

I do a course of microneedling a couple of times a year. I had two sessions leading up to my holiday using Derma 2.0 Bio - absolutely amazing stuff.

I try and Dermaplane every couple of months (when I remember) - I managed to do so 4 days before I flew.

I do a course of 3 skin boosters every few months and sometimes if I feel my skin is looking a little dull then I’ll do one then too.

I Botox around my eyes and in between my eyebrows every few months.

I believe good skin comes from within as much as what we put on it. I take a pro & prebiotic everyday, I eat extremely healthy and haven’t touched and always stay hydrated.

My main MUST is SPF. Come rain or shine I wear SPF50 EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR.

Thought I’d pop on and say hello 👋

It was my birthday yesterday 🥳 I had such a good day filled with relaxing around the pool and lots of delicious food 😋 I’m already feeling like I’ll be coming back a new woman 💁‍♀️

I touched down in Dubai yesterday and headed to the stunning Dubai Marina this evening ✨ The heat is no joke - it hit 43°C today!

My work phone has been off since Saturday, but from tomorrow I’ll be switching it on for one hour a day. I’ll be replying to messages, just a little slower than usual.

While I’m away, my lovely Pa is running the shop - I love her dearly and know everything’s in the best hands ❤️

So far: amazing food, a bit too much shopping and tomorrow we’re off for a pamper day!
